Rebecca trained as an actress at Guildford School of Acting, whilst there she was awareded The Principles Award in both 2003 & 2004.

She began her career on the open road appearing in National and small scale tours in theatres and art centres around the uk & ireland.  

 

Having always had a niche for the comedy roles, she began co-writing and devising her own comedy called Triple Threat, a reality TV spoof, which had sell out runs in London at The Pleasance and The Etcetera Theatre, followed by a successful run at The Gilded Balloon in Edinburgh 2007.

Through this, her passion for comedy developed and she began running and co-hosting her own comedy cabaret night, CABARERA - London's only Era themed comedy night.  

 

She also began working with Paul F Taylor (her husband) in the sketch duo SHORT & CURLY and they enjoyed successful runs in Edinburgh Festival in 2012, 2013, 2014,2016 and 2018.

In 2017 rebecca was diagnosed with a genetic heart condition called arvc. she is currently developing her story into a sitcom. watch this space...
